On January 17, an official delegation of the DPR, which was headed by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, undertook a working visit to the Republic of Crimea. The delegation included the Head of the “Donetsk Republic” faction Valery Skorokhodov, Deputy Vladimir Pakreyev, representatives of the Office of the Head of the DPR, Youth Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On January 14, on the occasion of the Old New Year, DPR People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka, aided by the People’s Council, delivered gifts to children found in challenging life situations, children deprived of parental care, and with limited health capabilities.

The People's Council is developing a number of draft laws with the involvement of various ministries and departments of the Republic on the implementation of legislative measures to promote investment flows. From January 1, 2020, the sum of a pension payment in the Republic increased by 20%, while  by 2022 the DPR Head will raise pensions and salaries to the level of the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
