The Young Parliament will be a platform that can become a mediator between socially active young people and institutions of state power. This was stated by the DPR’s People’s Council’s deputy, Head of the “Young Republic” public organization Kirill Makarov at a press conference in the Donetsk News Agency.

On March 10, in the centre of the Telmanovo urban-type settlement, Maslenitsa festivities took place. As the guests of honour, the event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, Vladimir Bidyovka, and the head of the Telmanovsky District Council, Alexander Spinul.

Territorial communities, cities and districts for four years have formed a base with proposals that will become the foundation of the draft law on local government bodies, says Olga Makeyeva, Deputy Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, following the results of the Republican public forum “Power of Donbass”.

On March 5, 2019, in Donetsk, within the framework of the working meeting of DPR People’s Council deputies with the official delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia, a cooperation agreement was signed between the People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic – the Parliament of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia.
