On August 23, in the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after A. B. Solovyanenko, a solemn event dedicated to Miner's Day was held. The event was attended by DPR Head Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, deputies of the People’s Council, representatives of relevant ministries, departments, coal mining workers.

On August 22, an event dedicated to Miner’s Day took place in the Donetsk Republican Academic Youth Theatre in Makeyevka. The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, representatives of the Ministry of Coal Mining and Energy, personnel of the “Makeyevugol” state enterprise.

People are killed every day in Donbass as a result of violation of the ceasefire regime, hundreds of political prisoners serve time in Ukrainian prisons, many citizens, fearing persecution by the SSU, are not able to return to their homes. This was stated by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka in an interview to the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

There have been a number of statements in the Ukrainian press lately, where the representatives of the Ukrainian president Zelensky’s team unveiled their initiatives according Donbass. The Deputy of the DPR’s People’s Council Miroslav Rudenko commented on the statements of Ukrainian politicians.

On August 21, in the capital of the Republic, an expanded meeting of the People’s Council Committee on Youth Policy, Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism was held on the topic “The relevance of the development and implementation of the Law on Adapted Physical Education and Sports in the Donetsk People’s Republic”.

Zelensky and Netanyahu visited Babi Yar, the place where Jews were executed by Ukrainian nationalists. Deputy Vladislav Berdichevsky noted in his commentary to a correspondent of the official website of the DPR that a Bandera greeting “Glory to Ukraine, glory to the heroes” was heard that day as it was 70 years ago.

On August 20, a series of events dedicated to the Town Day and Miner's Day took place in the town of Shakhtyorsk. The events were attended by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, deputies of the People’s Council Fyodor Berezin, Rinat Bilyalov and Maxim Parshin.
