On June 30, 2016, the plenipotentiary representatives of the DPR and LPR in the Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbass Denis Pushilin and Vladislav Deinego, Director of the Centre for Current Politics Alexey Chesnakov discussed the results of the Minsk agreements implementation in the first half of 2016 at the Round Table Discussion.

On June 29, the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Settlement of the Conflict in Donbass took place. The issues concerning exacerbation of the situation on the contact line were put on the agenda of the meeting.

On Thursday, June 23, the historic referendum was held in Great Britain. The citizens of the United Kingdom chose future of the country, namely whether to leave the EU or follow their own path. More than 70 % of the residents participated in the plebiscite, and 52 % of them voted to leave the EU.

Despite the statements of the Ukrainian President, the political issues of the negotiation process were and remain a priority. Peaceful settlement of a conflict as a whole remains without progress and undecided in the work of political subgroup. Especially considering the situation on the demarcation line which is escalating every day.

  On June 27, 2016, the opening ceremony of the Atlant Sports Center was held in Makeevka. Chairman of the DPR People`s Council Denis Pushilin, deputies of the People`s Council Vladimir Chekun and Valery Skorokhodov, Minister of Youth, Sport and Tourism of the DPR Mikhail Mishin were presented at the ceremony.

On June 25, the basketball championship among men's teams "Donetsk Summer League 2016" was held in Donetsk. Chairman of the DPR People`s Council Denis Pushilin had a presence at the event.

The US State Department finally decided to lay Obama`s cards on the table and to make him to play fair on Syria. Earlier the White House supported the Syrian terrorist groups and supplied so-called "moderate opposition” secretly, and today the State Department openly appeals for Barack Obama to start bombings of Bashar al-Assad`s government troops.
