I have repeatedly written about the gas supplies to Ukraine and the preparations for the upcoming heating season of 2016-2017. In fact, the situation with the purchase and accumulation of gas storage facilities in Ukraine has hardly changed ever since. As before, the natural gas cannot be bought in the required quantity. 

At the end of last week a free concert of the Russian musician Alexey Poddubny and the rock band “Django” was held in Horlovka. The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR People's Council Denis Pushilin and Acting Head of Horlovka city administration Ivan Prikhodko.

On September 17, 2016, the exchange of prisoners took place between Donetsk and Kiev within the framework of Minsk Trilateral contact group’s work. The Donetsk People’s Republic handed allegedly an employee of the UN humanitarian mission in Ukraine, which gathered the intelligence information, to the Ukrainian side of the SSU colonel, Yuri Suprun. In exchange, 4 civilians were returned.

On September 18, in the village Gorbachevo-Mikhaylovka of Mospino town under the “Cozy courtyard” project the grand opening of a new playground took place. According to the correspondent of the official site of the Donetsk People's Republic, the event was held under the auspices of the public movement “Donetsk Republic.”

We live in the era of the formation and bolster of informational influence on society. At the same time, media takes a leading position in the global control system and it managed to prove that it was able not only to leave its stamp on public opinion, but also to decide the fate of the most important events such as the election of the President or the recognition of the region’s independence.

On September 16, the Chairman of the DPR People's Council, permanent plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the trilateral contact group at negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin stated it is too early to talk about peace in Donbass as provocations carried out by the AFU continue, even though the ceasefire was announced.

In pursuit to achieve world supremacy, the US persistently tries to prove its exceptional leadership, not neglecting to use even low methods of struggle. The application of double standard’s policy has become a sort of USA’s ‘feature’, and the opinion, that this situation is absolutely normal, is actively suggested to less influent players in the geopolitical arena.

The main purpose of the army is to protect people and its country. The status of private military companies is still questionable. Their activity is not regulated legislatively, and it is not stated in the international law. However, there is always an exception to the rules.

Despite the assurances of the Ukrainian government to combat the shadow economy, illegal business in the neighboring country, by contrast, is thriving. There are several tens, or even hundreds of illegal businesses, but we should probably focus on the most basic and the most profitable.
